Whitney Houston and Dana Bash
Whitney Elizabeth Houston is the youngest of four children born in Newark, the state of New Jersey, on August 9 in 1963. The parents of Whitney are gospel singer Cissy Houston - born Emily Lee Drinkard - and John Russell Houston Jr. Whitney's cousin Dionne Warwick was also a singing sensation. When she was a kid she performed in the New Hope Baptist Church in Newark. When she reached the age of fifteen, Houston was singing professionally backing vocals with her mother in Chaka Khan's 1978 song Im Every Woman. In 1981, she worked as a fashion model and appeared on the Seventeen Cover. She also provided backing vocals to Jermaine and Lou Rawls. Her work as the featured vocalist of New York funk group Material attracted the attention of several major record labels, including Arista, with which she signed in 1982 and remained for the remainder of career. Whitney Houston, her debut album that debuted in 1985 was the top-selling debut album by any artist. On the album, she came out with several hits like Saving all My Love for You How Will You Know That You're a Good Person? and The Greater Love of All. This resulted in her having seven US Top Ones in a row. She beat even the Beatles. The album sold 3 million copies its first year, and over 25 million worldwide. The album won her first six Grammys. The Whitney album from 1987, which featured the songs I Wanna Dance With Somebody and Where Do Broken Hearts Get to and continued to be a huge success. However, it was The Bodyguard of 1992 that was her breakthrough album and made her one of the biggest-selling musicians in recent history. Even though her film's performance as well as the soundtrack did not go over well but her Dolly Parton cover I Will Always Love You as well as its album that accompanied it dominated the singles charts and album charts across the world for months. The album sold over 44 million copies. When she had her daughter Bobbi she married Bobby Brown of the ex-New Edition group. At this point when her well-documented drug use began and by 1996 she was an everyday user.
Dana Bash is also known as Dana Ruth Schwartz and she is a correspondent for the political world as well as a reporter for CNN. Her Saturday shows are Evans & Novak Late Edition, Inside Politics and Inside Politics. In the past, she worked for NBC, CBS and other prominent channels. Bash's awards and recognitions include inclusion in Elle's Women in Washington Power List. A lot of young journalists admire Bash's incredible reporting and anchoring capabilities. She is a George Washington University graduate is the most loving mother of her one son. Her marriages have been two but she's now dating a man. Bash loves all her fans.
